SUKMA 2024 Meeting at Majlis Sukan Wilayah Persekutuan(MSWP), Putrajaya

MSWP called for a meeting to discuss preparations for SUKMA 2024.

En. Fadzlan Naim, Ketua Bahagian Pembangunan Sukan, MSWP chaired the meeting.

Also in attendance were En. Yaserudin, Pn. Sabrina and MSWP staff from Putrajaya and Labuan

KLCA was represented by President Dr. CM Zaidan and Hon.Secretary IO/NA Amirul HM.

 

Meeting at MSN, Bkt Jalil

KLCA's President (and MCF Deputy President) Dr. CM Zaidan Zulkipli and MCF representatives attended a meeting with MSN officials at MSN Bukit Jalil.

The meeting was called to discuss matters on the upcoming inclusion of chess in SUKMA 2024.

 

WPKL Youth Circuit 2023/24 (Points Standings after Circuit 6)

 Summary:

U18

Tan Wei Yuan is the 6th Champion in as many circuit after Wei Yin Lin(C1), Naim Azraie(C2), 
CM Amir Faiz Amirul (C3), Beh Keat Ket(C4) and Lim Zhung Chen(C5).

Though we have a new champion, Wei Yin Lin retains his Top Position in the U18 category
with 43 points after finishing second.
In Second place, Lim Zhung Chen has now overtaken Danish Zharif with 37 points.

Danish Zharif who did not participate in Circuit 6 is now on Joint - 3rd place with 12 year-old Khomisajie who is also on 31 points and was previously placed 4th.

U12

There were changes in the U12 category as well with Circuit 5 leader Wong Rui Yang not taking part.
Alan from Kazakhstan is the 4th Champion in the U12 category.
As such, Alan Gagloyez and Kyle are now JOINT-LEADERS with 36 points each.

Wong Rui Yang has now fallen to 3rd place with 30 points.
The much improved Ian Rayqal finished 5th and obtained 6 points. He is now Fourth on 22 points,
an improvement of 2 places from his previous 6th position.

 

Meeting between KLCA and MCF

 KLCA met up with MCF officials on Sunday, 18th June 2023 at Sri Hartamas, KL.

MCF were represented by President En. Akhramsyah and Assistant Treasurer FA Masha

Dr. CM Zaidan and IO/NA Amirul represented KLCA in the discussions.

Officials from Majlis Sukan Wilayah Persekutuan(MSWP) visited Circuit 6 of the
KL Youth Circuit 2023 at KL Chess Academy, Sri Hartamas.
